Cablecaddy - EV charging extension reels with type 1 or type 2 fittings

ELECTRIC vehicles are rapidly increasing in popularity – and as a result more and more homes and workplaces are fitting EV charging points.

Cablecaddy – a subsidiary of Ceenorm - offers EV charging cable extension reels as part of the Marcaddy range, extending the range of the charging cable by up to 8m.

Our EV charging cable extensions reels are all IP65 rated – allowing for outdoor use – and can be supplied with type 1 or type 2 fittings depending on vehicle type, type 1 being the Japanese & North American standard, and type 2 the European standard.

They’re a convenient way of keeping cables neat and tidy – and safely stored out of the way when not in use – as well as reaching vehicles which are further away.

The Marcaddy range of EV extension cable reels are available with both single phase and three phase options ranging from 7.4Kw (230v) up to 22Kw (400v).

The range is one of many quality cable reel solutions offered by the Ceenorm Group under the Cablecaddy banner – with a range including industrial cable reels, multi-socket extensions, earthing and grounding reels, and balancers offered.

Cablecaddy – a wholly owned subsidiary of Ceenorm – supplies Zeca manufactured products under the well-established Marcaddy brand into the UK and Ireland.

One of the main driving forces behind the adoption of cable reels is health and safety in the workplace. With ceiling and wall-mounted reels available, cable reels mean permanently wired yet flexible power is available, without trip hazards.

From a health and safety point of view, ceiling-mounted cable reels offer ‘drop-down power’ when it’s needed, easily accessible and safe within the workplace.
